I have just returned home from my first anime convention ever and it totally rocked! The first day we were there was all just a blur, but it involved something like waiting in line to get in, and meeting some cool people. the second day, we all went to go see Piano Squall(which was totally awesomeA!) then, i entered a ramen eating contest,and was stupid enough to forget to put some cool water in to cool it down, so I took a huge bite first scalded my mouth and through choking on noodles managed to yell something like "holy shit thats hot!" so i spent the rest of the contest attempting to keep boiling water inside my poor tortured mouth, and failing miserably. needless to say I was humiliated, but whatever, I got a free meal and, even though I couldn't taste it, inside my mind, I knew that it tasted damn good. after that my group and I went to the karaoke room, and by some great stroke of luck some girl found me rather attractive, so we hung out for a whil;e then her friends came and they all went somewhere. then we all wandered for a while and I made some friends with a couple of guys from dark horse comics and we proceeded to rock out on guitar hero, and I got owned, but it was still really fun
then we wandered around from panel to panel, just waiting for our Guitar hero competition to start then it did and I made the mistake of letting the guy Iwas going up against pick the song, and of course he had to [ick bark at the moon the only song I cant consistantl pass with a decent score and was once again humiliated. the third and final day was pretty much a cool down day where we just wandered all day and spent a lot of money. All in all it was the highlight of my summer. and I hope to go again next year
